Call Center – Challenging & Fun

I was working in a call center before. It was challenging and it was fun. There were different types of callers. If you would ask I can name it, from polite to the very rude kind of people. Some think that call center agents were damn and didn’t know anything but to put on the headset, face the computer. They didn’t know that it’s one of the jobs that’s very difficult to do. Since it was a paging company so we need to abbreviate words. And during that time, they didn’t understand the convenience of using abbreviation. Sometimes messages were sent the way the caller dictated the message and sometimes we would edit it. And they would complain. And as a call center again, no matter how angry I was with the caller, I had to soften my voice even if I would bit my lips for being so pissed off. With the schedule, I love to work grave yard shifts for callers were few and there were ample of time to relax.
